James Arthur Ray Mis-Quotes on Life, Death and Rebirth

Set in motion the things to be done by visualizing them as finished.
--James Arthur Ray

Keep on Visualizing James ::: it might make the years in Jail go that must faster.

The creative cycle begins shortly after the destructive cycle ends.
--James Arthur Ray

So far all we've gotten to see is your DESTRUCTIVE cycle James ::: and we all know how that turned out.  Question: When is your creative cycle going to begin??

What's that ::: your DEFENSE was part your creative cycle?  Not creative enough I guess ::: Oh well.  But then your defense is still a work in progress ::: isn't it.

"The descent into matter must be complete before the ascent to spirit can commence." --Dion Fortune
--James Arthur Ray

My husband Johnnie to me:  "Did that asshole Ray, just post a Tweet about dying?"
My answer:  "Yeppers, Johnnie ::: he certainly did."
Johnnie's response:  "That's fucking sick."

Each time I think my opinion of James Arthur Ray can't fall any further ::: an other of his tasty wisdom morsels pop up on Twitter.

JAR states he's quoting Dion Fortune ::: AKA Violet Mary Firth Evans ::: a 20th Century British Occultist and prolific author.  Not that it really matters, he should have attributed this quote to Jane Gifford an other Brit.

What's so phenomenally stunning about this particular quote is the fact it's describing the process of dying ::: while this discussion eventually goes on to speak about rebirth of spirit ::: the fact remains the body is dead.

James ::: 3 people are dead due to your actions ::: 4 if you count Colleen Conaway ::: and you tweet about death?  Have you no sensitivity or feeling?  Excuse my rhetorical question James ::: I guess already know the answer.  Your words and actions speak volumes.

Hey James I have a Dion Fortune quote for YOU.

"Never trust the occultist who tells you that he is the head of a tradition, because if he were, in the first place, he would not tell the fact to the uninitiated, and in the second place he would in all probability be living in great seclusion and inaccessible to all but his immediate subordinates.
Dion Fortune (Esoteric Orders and Their Work and The Training and Work of the Initiate)

A true leader and great man ::: wouldn't be posting a bunch of nonsense on Twitter and Facebook ::: let alone be facing jail time for negligent homicide times three.

James ::: if you'd taken responsibility ::: even ONCE ::: I doubt most of this contentious stuff would have happened.  More importantly ::: no one would have died or gotten sick.  But they did ::: and even after ALL this time ::: you have yet to apologize to ANYONE.  More than anything else ::: it was your attitude which brought you down ::: and CONTINUES to hold you down now.

It must be horrible knowing how great you could have been ::: had you chosen an other path.  Now all you have left is the facade of fame and even that's fading fast.  Too many broken promises ::: too many outright lies ::: too many people injured ::: your actions were bound to catch up with you.

Tweets from an Evil and Blind James Arthur Ray

Sight is seeing with the eyes... Vision is seeing through the eyes
James Arthur Ray

It seems like every time James Arthur Ray tries sounding profound ::: he ends up sounding profoundly stupid.  But then that's just my take ::: and I'm a nit picky opinionated bitch.  (Smile when you read that damn it!)

I read today's James Arthur Ray post and groaned.  Sounds cute, and would look great in a greeting card ::: but it's just more of JAR's same-old same-old ::: meaningless don't mean shit ::: Twitter Peeps.

Yeah ::: technically the word "sight" can be used to define the process of seeing via one's eyes (assuming they both work) ::: BUT ::: and it's a big BUTT (pun intended) vision is not the process of seeing through the eyes.

I think what friend James meant to say was "vision is the process of seeing through our mind's eye" ::: or some such huggy cutesy feel good sounding drivel.

When the average ::: educated ::: person on the street thinks of the word "Vision", he/she immediately thinks imagination (hint: envision) NOT 20-20 vision.  Friend James must have had a brain fart and accidentally substituted the wrong word.  Then again ::: perhaps not :::

The Dark Side of James Arthur Ray's Twitter Posts

James enjoys substituting words A LOT ::: and not because he's stupid.  Perhaps there's a more sinister reasoning behind all of James Arthur Ray's strange, bizarre and disjointed Tweet Posts.  I believe these posts are part and parcel of James Arthur Ray's INTENTIONAL and ongoing efforts to manipulate (translation: brainwash) his followers.

James Arthur Ray has shown himself a master of redirection and manipulation.  He lies, steals, bullies, misdirects, abuses, kills ::: and yet NOTHING he does is ever his fault.  It's almost as if his very soul were made of Teflon.

James Arthur Ray would have the world believe that everything he says is the truth.  He has consistently promised his followers, the universe on a platter ::: IF ::: they trust whatever he says (without question) ::: do whatever he says (without question) ::: and give him LOTS of money (without question).

The words of an unrepentant sociopath:
I told you to do it ::: BUT :::

If during the course of following James Arthur Ray's direction (without question) ::: people get poor or negative results ::: people lose money ::: people are hurt ::: people die ::: his comeback is always ::: (ILLNESS, BROKEN BONES, BAD REACTIONS, VOMITING, HEAT STROKE, DEATH) IT WASN'T MY FAULT.

Various Brainwashing / Mind altering and abusive control techniques which have been used by James Arthur Ray.
~ information taken from Wikipedia ~

Love Bombing: is the deliberate show of affection or friendship by an individual or a group of people toward another individual. Critics have asserted that this action may be motivated in part by the desire to recruit, convert or otherwise influence.

Critics of cults often cite love bombing as one of the features that may identify an organization as a cult. When used by critics, the phrase is defined to mean affection that is feigned or with an ulterior motive and that is used to reduce the subject's resistance to recruitment.[5]

The term was popularized by psychology professor Margaret Singer, who has become closely identified with the love-bombing-as-brainwashing point of view.[6] In her 1996 book, Cults in Our Midst, she described the technique:
As soon as any interest is shown by the recruits, they may be love bombed by the recruiter or other cult members. This process of feigning friendship and interest in the recruit was originally associated with one of the early youth cults, but soon it was taken up by a number of groups as part of their program for luring people in. Love bombing is a coordinated effort, usually under the direction of leadership, that involves long-term members' flooding recruits and newer members with flattery, verbal seduction, affectionate but usually nonsexual touching, and lots of attention to their every remark. Love bombing - or the offer of instant companionship - is a deceptive ploy accounting for many successful recruitment drives.[7]
The Unification Church rejects this view of its practice. Church leader Damian Anderson has written:
One man's love-bombing is another man's being showered with attention. Everyone likes such care and attention, so it is unfortunate that when we love as Jesus taught us to love, that we are then accused of having ulterior motives.[8]
Steven Hassan and Keith Henson are among the other cult critics to write about love bombing, postulating that it is similar, in terms of effects on neutrotransmitters within the brain, emotional state, and conduct, to the administration of drugs of abuse, temporarily producing intense euphoria when under its influence, and encouraging the actions from which the stimulus was derived. Pursuit of the stimulus often becomes an obsessive focus that is detrimental to financial status and human relationships.[9]

Dr. Geri-Ann Galanti (in a sympathetic article) writes: "A basic human need is for self-esteem.... Basically [love bombing] consists of giving someone a lot of positive attention."[10]

Gaslighting: is a form of psychological abuse in which false information is presented to the victim with the intent of making them doubt their own memory and perception. It may simply be the denial by an abuser that previous abusive incidents ever occurred, or it could be the staging of bizarre events by the abuser with the intention of disorienting the victim. Gaslighting had a colloquial origin explained below, but the term has also been used in clinical and research literature.[1][2]

The term derives from the 1938 stage play Gas Light (originally known as Angel Street in the United States), and the 1940 and 1944 film adaptations. The plot concerns a husband who attempts to drive his wife to insanity by manipulating small elements of their environment, and insisting that she is mistaken or misremembering when she points out these changes. The title stems from the husband's subtle dimming of the house's gas lights, which she accurately notices and which the husband insists she's imagining.

Gaslighting has been used colloquially since at least the late 1970s to describe efforts to manipulate someone's sense of reality. In a 1980 book on child sex abuse, Florence Rush summarized George Cukor's 1944 film version of Gas Light, and writes, "even today the word [gaslight] is used to describe an attempt to destroy an other's perception of reality." [3]

Crowd manipulation: is the intentional use of techniques based on the principles of crowd psychology to engage, control, or influence the desires of a crowd in order to direct its behavior toward a specific action.[1] This practice is common to politics and business and can facilitate the approval or disapproval or indifference to a person, policy, or product. The ethical use of crowd manipulation is debatable and depends on such factors as the intention of and the means used by the manipulator, as well as the ends achieved.

Destabilisation, bullying, and other power tactics.  The word destabilisation can be applied to a wide variety of contexts such as attempts to undermine political, military or economic power. In a psychological context it is used as a technique in brain washing and abuse to disorientate and disarm the victim. For example, in the context of workplace bullying, destabilisation applied to the victim may involve:[1] [2]
  • failure to acknowledge good work and value the victim's efforts
  • allocation of meaningless tasks
  • removal of areas of responsibility without consultation
  • repeated reminders of blunders
  • setting up to fail
  • shifting of goal posts without telling the victim
  • persistent attempts to demoralise the victim.
Cognitive Distortions: Are also logical fallacies; related links are suggested in parentheses.
  1. All-or-nothing thinking (splitting) – Thinking of things in absolute terms, like "always", "every", "never", and "there is no alternative". Few aspects of human behavior are so absolute. (See false dilemma.) All-or-nothing-thinking can contribute to depression. (See depression). Also called dichotomous thinking.
  2. Overgeneralization – Taking isolated cases and using them to make wide generalizations. (See hasty generalization.)
  3. Mental filter – Focusing almost exclusively on certain, usually negative or upsetting, aspects of an event while ignoring other positive aspects. For example, focusing on a tiny imperfection in a piece of otherwise useful clothing. (See misleading vividness.)
  4. Disqualifying the positive – Continually deemphasizing or "shooting down" positive experiences for arbitrary, ad hoc reasons. (See special pleading.)
  5. Jumping to conclusions – Drawing conclusions (usually negative) from little (if any) evidence. Two specific subtypes are also identified:
    • Mind reading – Assuming special knowledge of the intentions or thoughts of others.
    • Fortune telling – Exaggerating how things will turn out before they happen. (See slippery slope.)
  6. Magnification and minimization – Distorting aspects of a memory or situation through magnifying or minimizing them such that they no longer correspond to objective reality. This is common enough in the normal population to popularize idioms such as "make a mountain out of a molehill." In depressed clients, often the positive characteristics of other people are exaggerated and negative characteristics are understated. There is one subtype of magnification:
    • Catastrophizing – Focusing on the worst possible outcome, however unlikely, or thinking that a situation is unbearable or impossible when it is really just uncomfortable.
  7. Emotional reasoning – Assuming reality to reflect emotions, e.g. "I feel it, therefore it must be true." (See appeal to consequences.)
  8. Should statements – Patterns of thought which imply the way things "should" or "ought" to be rather than the actual situation the patient is faced with, or having rigid rules which the patient believes will "always apply" no matter what the circumstances are. Albert Ellis termed this "Musturbation". (See wishful thinking.)
  9. Labeling and mislabeling – Explaining behaviors or events, merely by naming them; related to overgeneralization. Rather than describing the specific behavior, a patient assigns a label to someone or himself that implies absolute and unalterable terms. Mislabeling involves describing an event with language that is highly colored and emotionally loaded.
  10. PersonalizationAttribution of personal responsibility (or causal role) for events over which the patient has no control. This pattern is also applied to others in the attribution of blame.

The words of a Thief

"Health is our greatest wealth." --Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Your true wealth is not measured by your possessions, your true wealth is what you have left when all your possessions are gone"
James Arthur Ray

Strange words coming from a man who used to define himself by his wealth and his possessions. In 2007, I heard James Ray Say "He who dies with the most toys wins."  How saddly ironic that three years later ::: his friends and followers would be the ones who LOST.  They died believing in JAR ::: paying the ultimate price for their trust.  How did James Arthur Ray respond to their pain???  He walked away and did nothing.

I don't think it matters how much money James Arthur Ray ever really had ::: or how much he ends up losing. IMHO he's one of the most ethically, morally, and emotionally impoverished men on earth.

James you can keep filing even more contentious motions ::: pretend you are better than you are ::: lie about everything that happened during Spiritual Warrior 2009 ::: but you can't hide from your fate forever.  One day ::: some way ::: you will have to pay for the fruits of your actions.

The longer you wait ::: the harsher this payment will be.  Make amends ::: speak only truth ::: be the honorable man you were born to be ::: face the results of your actions and go to jail.

James Arthur Ray Tweet on Chaos

@JamesARay
No matter how chaotic things may appear... Ther's always an implicate order
James Arthur Ray

The average person looks at this post and goes "WTF"??? A grade school teacher looks at this post and goes "what bad grammar". A physicist might look at this post and say, "I think he's playing fast and loose with the theory of Quantum entanglement".

Personally I think this post only serves to makes James Arthur Ray look even more stupid than he already is. (If that's physically possible)

As in other James Arthur Ray posts ::: this one contains a number of errors.

lacks specificity
is difficult to read and/or understand
contains multiple misspelled and misused words
poor grammar - I know it's a Twitter Post and I'm nitpicky

The problem with using the word "thing" or "things" in the context of a message ::: without more details ::: it's easy for readers to get lost trying to figure out what "thing" or "things" the writer is talking about.

In his post, James Arthur Ray says: "No matter how chaotic things may appear".

Unfortunately he doesn't give you a clue as to which things he's talking about.  Is he talking about life events ::: is he talking about the weather ::: who the hell knows. When it comes down to it ::: a thing is a thing is a thing ::: and nobody but JAR knows which things he's talking about.

He only complicates things (pun intended) further in the last half of his post. "Ther's always an implicate order"

First off ::: even in quantum physics ::: implicate order doesn't exactly relate to chaos ::: suffice it to say Bohn's theory's on Implicate and Explicate Order are a little too complicated to sum up in a single illiterate tweet post.

While I could be wrong ::: I assume JAR meant to use the word implicit NOT implicate (great Freudian pun) ::: which doesn't work either.  The whole idea of order in chaos doesn't apply to the everyday real world.  Not unless you're a trauma doctor and know what in the hell you're doing.  Besides the entire world knows how well James Arthur Ray functions in chaotic and stressfull situations.

Who breaks for lunch and a shower when people are dying all around you?!  Friend James would have done well in Dachau or Auschwitz ::: his sweat lodges were almost as hot as the crematoriums.

Listen to the video posted by the Salty Droid

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Implicate_and_explicate_order_according_to_David_Bohm
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theory_of_Everything

It's way too easy to laughingly state James Arthur Ray is stupid ::: when he's not.  That said ::: how "SMART" you are can't be summed up by a single IQ test.  So when I say James Arthur Ray is stupid ::: I don't mean he's not smart ::: it's simply he's lacking in various areas SO he does some extraordinarily stupid things.

James Arthur Ray lacks insight, so his take on people, places and events is skewed or off center.  His moral compass isn't working, so he does bad things to good people.  He's insecure, and doesn't want other people to know ::: so he pretends to be more than he really is ::: and bullies people who disagree.

Lastly ::: James Arthur Ray is a sociopath and a narcissist ::: so he's incapable of feeling emotions and living life the same way non-sociopaths do.  Sociopaths are convincing liars, predators and worse ::: prone to grandiosity, violence, startling cruelty, unprovoked rages, suicidal depression and excesses of all types.  There is currently no treatment or cure for sociopathic behavior.

If James Arthur Ray is allowed to go free ::: he will simply continue on as he has in the past.  It's only a matter of time before more people are hurt or killed.  If he doesn't get jail time ::: it will simply reinforce his current belief that he's above the law and can do ANYTHING he wants.

GET INVOLVED!
James Arthur Ray still has motions pending ::: and no one really knows how all that's going to work out or how Darrow will rule.  The time to write your congressman, senator, favorite talking head, etc., etc., etc., is NOW ::: before it's too late.  The more people who make noise ::: the more attention gets focused on the James Arthur Ray trial.

Notes on Intelligence

There are 8 (count them) categories currently used to measure the totality of one's intelligence. Number 9, is a suggested category. The means of measuring Number 10, has only recently been investigated. There are a number of tests available for various ages.

1. Linguistic and verbal intelligence:
Good with Words - taken from Wikipedia

This area has to do with words, spoken or written. People with high verbal-linguistic intelligence display a facility with words and languages. They are typically good at reading, writing, telling stories and memorizing words along with dates. They tend to learn best by reading, taking notes, listening to lectures, and by discussing and debating about what they have learned. Those with verbal-linguistic intelligence learn foreign languages very easily as they have high verbal memory and recall, and an ability to understand and manipulate syntax and structure.

2. Logical intelligence:
good with math and logic - taken from Wikipedia

This area has to do with logic, abstractions, reasoning and numbers. While it is often assumed that those with this intelligence naturally excel in mathematics, chess, computer programming and other logical or numerical activities, a more accurate definition places less emphasis on traditional mathematical ability and more on reasoning capabilities, recognizing abstract patterns, scientific thinking and investigation and the ability to perform complex calculations. It correlates strongly with traditional concepts of intelligence or IQ.

3. Spatial intelligence:
good at visualizing and seeing things - taken from Wikipedia

This area deals with spatial judgment and the ability to visualize with the mind's eye. Careers which suit those with this type of intelligence include artists, designers and architects. A spatial person is also good with puzzles.

4. Body/movement intelligence:
good with physical activities - taken from Wikipedia

The core elements of the bodily-kinesthetic intelligence are control of one's bodily motions and the capacity to handle objects skillfully (206). Gardner elaborates to say that this intelligence also includes a sense of timing, a clear sense of the goal of a physical action, along with the ability to train responses so they become like reflexes.

In theory, people who have bodily-kinesthetic intelligence should learn better by involving muscular movement (e.g. getting up and moving around into the learning experience), and are generally good at physical activities such as sports or dance. They may enjoy acting or performing, and in general they are good at building and making things. They often learn best by doing something physically, rather than by reading or hearing about it. Those with strong bodily-kinesthetic intelligence seem to use what might be termed muscle memory - they remember things through their body such as verbal memory.

Careers that suit those with this intelligence include: athletes, pilots, dancers, musicians, actors, surgeons, doctors, builders, police officers, and soldiers. Although these careers can be duplicated through virtual simulation, they will not produce the actual physical learning that is needed in this intelligence.

5. Musical intelligence:
good with music, sounds, rhythm - taken from Wikipedia

This area has to do with sensitivity to sounds, rhythms, tones, and music. People with a high musical intelligence normally have good pitch and may even have absolute pitch, and are able to sing, play musical instruments, and compose music. Since there is a strong auditory component to this intelligence, those who are strongest in it may learn best via lecture. Language skills are typically highly developed in those whose base intelligence is musical. In addition, they will sometimes use songs or rhythms to learn. They have sensitivity to rhythm, pitch, meter, tone, melody or timbre.Careers that suit those with this intelligence include instrumentalists, singers, conductors, disc-jockeys, orators, writers and composers.

6. Interpersonal intelligence:
good with communication - taken from Wikipedia

This area has to do with interaction with others. In theory, people who have a high interpersonal intelligence tend to be extroverts, characterized by their sensitivity to others' moods, feelings, temperaments and motivations, and their ability to cooperate in order to work as part of a group. They communicate effectively and empathize easily with others, and may be either leaders or followers. They typically learn best by working with others and often enjoy discussion and debate.

7. Intrapersonal intelligence:
good at analyzing things - taken from Wikipedia

This area has to do with introspective and self-reflective capacities. People with intrapersonal intelligence are intuitive and typically introverted. They are skillful at deciphering their own feelings and motivations. This refers to having a deep understanding of the self; what your strengths/ weaknesses are, what makes you unique, you can predict your own reactions/ emotions.Careers which suit those with this intelligence include philosophers, psychologists, theologians, lawyers, and writers. People with intrapersonal intelligence also prefer to work alone.

8. Naturalist intelligence:
good with understanding natural world - taken from Wikipedia

This area has to do with nurturing and relating information to one’s natural surroundings. Careers which suit those with this intelligence include naturalists, farmers and gardeners.

9. Existential
Spiritual or religious intelligence - taken from Wikipedia

Some proponents of multiple intelligence theory proposed spiritual or religious intelligence as a possible additional type. Gardner did not want to commit to a spiritual intelligence, but suggested that an "existential" intelligence may be a useful construct. The hypothesis of an existential intelligence has been further explored by educational researchers.

Ability to contemplate phenomena or questions beyond sensory data, such as the infinite and infinitesimal. Careers or callings which suit those with this intelligence include shamans, priests, mathematicians, physicists, scientists, cosmologists and philosophers.

10. Moral
Ability to differential between right and wrong

Words of Wisdom from our Favorite Sociopathic Peep

Life challenges don't define who you are but they often reveal you to yourself
- James Arthur Ray
 James James James James James :::

Bad grammar aside ::: I think you got it wrong ::: AGAIN!  Then again perhaps I'm wrong (it's been known to happen) and you actually enjoy looking and sounding like an idiot.

First off ::: yeah, life challenges don't define you ::: or rather us.  But they sure as hell alter us and our perceptions of things.  If we're smart ::: and paying attention to what's going around us ::: we LEARN from these experiences.  Hopefully ::: if we're good people and we don't have our heads up our proverbial ass ::: the experience helps us to improve and grow as human beings.

Here's the kicker ::: if we're good people ::: we do GOOD things ::: no one dies ::: everyone goes home ::: we know we're loved and life is good.  If we're a sociopathic nut case (sound like anyone we know?) ::: we treat everyone like shit ::: a bunch of people die ::: many more are hospitalized ::: not everyone goes home ::: all sane people hate us and life generally sucks.

What did the events of Spiritual Warrior 2009
teach you about yourself James?
Do you think you handled that particular "Life Challenge" well?
Did you treat people well??? ::: NO.
Do you treat people better now??? ::: NO.
Have you made amends for your actions??? ::: NO.

You actions lead to two conclusions ::: either you're phenomenally stupid and incapable of learning ::: or you basically don't give a shit about ANYONE except YOURSELF.  My money is on the latter.

WTF is your problem?  WAIT ::: Don't answer!!!  Like a LOT of people ::: I already know.   Why don't you surprise everyone and FINALLY do the right thing.  Stop hurting people ::: stop all the legal bullshit ::: MAKE AMENDS ::: stop pretending you're someone you're not ::: face your actions like the man you say you are.  GO TO JAIL JAMES.

The Little Dutch Girl Who Was Adopted by a Blue Eyed Crow

In ways that are difficult to explain ::: or understand ::: I grew up alone.

My Mom wasn't like other little girl's Moms.  She was beautiful, intelligent, loving, cruel, brutal and unpredictable.  What I didn't know or understand in those days ::: she was bipolar and a paranoid schizophrenic.

When I was little she loved to dress me up. On good days ::: she told me I was her golden girl ::: her beautiful baby girl.  On bad days ::: when I was sick or cried too much and she became overwhelmed ::: life could be ugly.

I grew up in Santa Ana California.  1960's Santa Ana wasn't anything like the huge city it is today.

Our home was located in what had originally been military housing.  Our neighbors were squeaky clean, pure white ::: Americans through and through.  Which meant my immigrant family stuck out like a sore thumb ::: even though we were white.

I started Kindergarten at age 4 ::: I was almost 2 years younger than most of the other children in my class.  I remember my first day at school.  Mom dressed me up ::: drove me to school ::: then dropped me off at class.  No forewarning or explanations ::: she simply dumped me and walked off.

The problem was ::: whenever Mom was angry at me (which happened A LOT) she'd threaten to banish me to some far away school.  Not knowing what I'd done wrong ::: and never having been away from home ::: I flew into a wild panic.  The teacher held me back as I screamed and cried for my Mother.  I remember feeling inconsolable grief while watching my Mom walk away ::: never stopping ::: never looking back.

Was small for my age ::: had long red hair, pale white skin, spoke with a Dutch accent and wore clothing from the Salvation Army. While elocution lessons (years later) eventually removed all traces of my accent ::: nothing could erase the fact my family was poor.   So I became a target for the middle class "American" kids in their bright new Kenny Shoes and Sears outfits.

My first day of Kindergarten was hard ::: My first week in grade school was absolutely brutal.  Some older kids invited me and a bunch of other first graders to the playground to sit on the Merry-Go-Round.  I'd never been on a Merry-Go-Round before ::: and didn't know what to expect.

An older kid picked me up and placed me on the Merry-Go-Round ::: then said "Hold On" and laughed.  The harder the big kids pushed the Merry-Go-Round ::: the faster it went.  I could barely hold on ::: fear welled up inside me ::: I wanted to throw up.  Suddenly I slid off the edge ::: landing underneath the Merry-Go-Round.

Every time I tried to get up my head hit the bottom of the rapidly spinning Merry-Go-Round ::: and I rolled around underneath.  The children above me were kicking and screaming ::: their feet landing on my face, head and body.  I screamed for what seemed an eternity ::: but the sound of my voice was drowned by the noise and laughter around me.

When the Merry-Go-Round stopped, a tall skinny boy with pitch black hair and vivid blue eyes picked me up from the ground.  He looked at me with a worried face.  "Are you OK?"  Stunned ::: I could only nod.  "That's good, my name is Ray ::: Raymond Fredrick Patient.  They did the same thing to me when I started first grade."

I was the only one of my family born in America ::: yet I still spoke with an accent ::: something I didn't realize until it was pointed out to me be a teacher. A few weeks later my parents were told I had a speech impediment (lazy tongue). The school said I needed "speech therapy".   As this so called speech therapy was going to be on the school's dime ::: my Mom said OK. Thus started my weekly transformation into a true American via elocution lessons.

The area I grew up in was originally mostly farmland.  There were bean and strawberry fields. There was a dairy farm down the street from my home ::: with lots of cows.  Our backyard overlooked Raitt Street and seemingly endless bean fields.  Sometimes on cool winter nights ::: when sound carried further ::: the rumble hum of occasional passing cars mirrored the sound the sea made as it crested on a distant shore.  Some nights ::: when I was sad, scared or overwhelmed ::: I'd close my eyes focus on that sound ::: and fall asleep dreaming I was sailing out to sea.

Towards the end of Summer ::: when the beans were harvested ::: I remember the dozens of crows which came to feast on the freshly cut beans as they lay spread out upon the field to dry.  I'd sit, my face pressed against our chain link fence watching the crows laugh and talk and soar high above my head.

A friend of my Dad called the crows tricksters.  He told me stories his Grandfathers had told him when he was a boy.  "A crow chooses the man ::: if he chooses you at birth he will never leave you."  "How do you know if a crow chooses you?"  I had asked.  He just looked at me and smiled.

My Mom called crows thieves. "They like to steal shiny things and take them to their nest."  "Why Mama?"  I had asked  She just looked at me and smiled.

The Autumn I turned 5, before the last of the bean fields were plowed over and seeded with cement to grow hundreds of houses ::: I sat silent, face pressed against the chain link fence ::: watching the crows each afternoon ::: hoping they would swoop down and play with me.

My friend Eileen was raped and killed that same Autumn ::: and buried alive near a new housing tract.  Killed by the silent older boy who used to follow Eileen and me home from school.  He had simply walked into her house ::: went to her room ::: then carried her from her home.

The night Eileen was killed I dreamed I saw ghosts at my window.  I woke up my Mom and told her what I'd seen.  She told me it was a dream ::: then looked at me and smiled.  "Go to sleep."

The next morning I learned of Eileen's death.  The police had found bits of her clothing near my bedroom window ::: snagged on a nail ::: along with some finger prints which turned out to be the boy's.  He had come to take me as well ::: but all our doors and windows were locked.

That afternoon I lay down in the deep grass in our backyard ::: face pressed against the chain link fence ::: crying and watching the crows.  I could hear the sound of them all around me, which made me cry more.  My Mom had told me they were going to build houses over the rest of the fields.  I loved looking at the open land ::: and feared for my beloved crows.

I heard an unfamiliar clicking noise next to me and looked up.  A small crow ::: with the brightest blue eyes ::: was standing in the tall grass looking intently at me.  She was so beautiful I wanted to reach out for her ::: but something held me back.  So I sat ::: as still as I could ::: and simply watched.

Suddenly the sky above me was filled with dozens and dozens of crows.  They were swooping and soaring ::: sitting on the chain link fence ::: and walking in the grass.  A big crow walked up to the little crow next to me and made a loud "caw" sound.  The little crow jumped up and landed awkwardly on my left shoulder.

Startled, I climbed quickly to my feet.  As I did ::: the crows took flight around me ::: filling the air with the sound of their laughter.  Head up ::: looking towards my friends ::: I began imitating their sounds.  I stretched out my arms and twirled until I became so dizzy I fell down on the ground.  As I lay on the ground ::: the little crow with the bright blue eyes ::: landed next to me one last time.  She tugged once on my left sleeve then flew away.

The next time I saw my Dad's friend ::: I told him what had happened in my backyard.  He looked at me and smiled.  He said the crow had made me part of her family ::: that she and I would be friends forever.

The little crow with the bright blue eyes grew bigger ::: and her eyes grew dark.  For almost 30 years ::: she returned to my backyard in the Summer and Autumn.  Ever fearless ::: she dived bombed our cats whenever she found them lounging in the grass.  One memorable Autumn she returned and brought along two tiny crows with bright blue eyes ::: who grew into large dark eyed crows with little crows of their own.

I remember the afternoon I moved from my Santa Ana home ::: over 30 years after the little crow with the bright blue eyes had come into my life.  My backyard was filled with her family and friends ::: dozens of crows ::: I looked at them one last time and then turned around.  I was crying when we drove away.

I miss White Cloud ::: my Lakota teacher ::: and the stories he told me of his life in the plains.  I miss Ray F. Patient (my grade school savior and best friend) who walked me home from school every day after Eileen's murder.  Ray encouraged me to be an artist ::: to draw ::: to sing ::: to write.  Ray died of AIDS in the 80s.  Most of all I miss the little crow with the bright blue eyes who chose me ::: and allowed me to be part of her family.

Happy Tweets from a Bird on a Ledge

I've been too busy dealing with my life (didn't know I had one did ya!) to post my regular James Arthur Ray "read of the day".  Amazing as this must sound to some of my detractors ::: I actually do more than sit on my fat ass bitching and moaning (translation: blogging) about James Arthur Ray.

The point of today's Blog

Seems Friend James is at a wedding today.  His tweets are sounding all cutesy ::: giddy ::: snugly ::: warm and happy (too much champagne ???).  They're not at all like the dark and weird posts he's been pumping out as of late.

@JamesARay Tweet Post #1
Today I have the honor of standing up in the wedding of two very good friends. Congratulations JT and ST!

@JamesARay Tweet Post #2
True love is not about eye gazing and butterflies; true love is about commitment to a common purpose and moving in the same direction

@JamesARay Tweet Post #3
A relationship that grows together stays together

@JamesARay Tweet Post #4
You can measure the quality of your life by the quality of your relationships

Oh boy ::: that last TWEET set off sirens in my head.

WARNING this is LOUD!
Check the sound on your speakers before playing this.

James Arthur Ray presenting himself as an expert on relationships ::: YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING?!!! Wonder if James Arthur Ray's x-wife agrees with his self assessment?

Up until JAR's last Tweet Post ::: I was thinking I would just leave it alone today.  I mean who doesn't love a good wedding?  But as the posts kept coming in ::: I started thinking about LC ::: an other of James Arthur Ray's "very good friends" who's wedding he attended.

FYI ::: I'm not posting LC's name out of respect for the man's privacy ::: he's suffered enough throughout this entire ordeal.  Those of us who have followed the trial know his name ::: those who haven't ::: don't really need to know it ::: nuff said.

During the Spiritual Warrior 2009 Sweat Lodge ::: LC fell into the heated rocks.  The sound of his screams were reported by people both inside and outside of the sweat.  James Arthur Ray ::: LC's good friend ::: heard nothing ::: DID NOTHING.  LC eventually suffered a heat stroke.  Wanting to "Play Full On" LC returned to the sweat lodge with his hand wrapped up in a towel ::: and eventually passed out.  The effects of the heat on his body and hand was so severe he required hospitalization.

Wonder why friend James didn't stop LC from re-entering the sweat lodge with a severely burned hand ::: covered only in a towel?  Oh yeah I forgot ::: friend James DIDN'T KNOW LC had been hurt.  Yeah right.  What a crock of horse pituty!  LC's buddy and good friend James Arthur Ray ::: never asked LC about his health ::: or the condition of his hand ::: not once ::: not ever ::: never.   Not when he screamed ::: not even when he passed out.

James Arthur Ray didn't stop the sweat lodge to help his friend LC who was screaming in agony while in the rocks.  Didn't check on his friend to see if he was getting proper medical attention (he wasn't BIG SURPRISE).  Didn't visit his friend (or the 17 other victims transported for care) in the hospital ::: didn't send ANYONE to check on LC or ANYONE.  Didn't write ::: Didn't call ::: Didn't do zip.

During LC's testimony ::: good friend James Arthur Ray sat motionless and allowed Louis Li to treat LC like dirt.  Same old Same Old James Arthur Ray ::: not exactly someone you'd want as a friend ::: but then what do I know.

Then there's James Shore ::: who won't be going to any weddings again EVER ::: and Liz Neuman (Dream Team member and James Arthur Ray friend) who won't see her children's weddings ::: Kirby Brown, who will never have children.

IMHO James Arthur Ray really is a shit, and a rotten friend.  I hope the folks who's wedding he attended today have a long and happy marriage.  God willing they'll never have to put James Arthur Ray's friendship to the test.

Yet an other Tweet from the Dark Side

@JamesARay James Arthur Ray
"The human body is the best picture.of the human soul."
--Ludwig Wittgenstein

James Arthur Ray's Twitter posts rarely fail to surprise me.  Yeah yeah yeah ::: I'll admit a lot of them make my head hurt or make me angry ::: his Ludwig Wittgenstein post, made me cry.  And not for the reasons one would think.  I'll write more about why I cried ::: a little further on.

This post confuses me.  James Arthur Ray has often told people they are "more than their bodies".  I've heard him say our outer appearance is a reflection of who we used to be ::: not who we will become in the future.

The thing is ::: who decides what is good or bad in the body ::: and what if anything, represents the human soul?  Beauty ::: skin color ::: height ::: physical build ::: muscles ::: hair or lack there of???

When I look into Stephen Hawking's eyes I see so much beauty and light ::: is his soul represented by his ALS ravaged body?

Stephen Hawing
The thing is ::: Wittgenstein, wasn't exactly renown for his social skills ::: or his ability to read people ::: he may also have suffered from a form of autism (see below).  So I can't help wondering why James Arthur Ray would post a quote from a deeply troubled man ???  Specially when the quote is so far from the truth???

Ludwig Wettgenstein
Wittgenstein and his siblings survived a brutal childhood at the hands of their autocratic father.  Ludwig contemplated suicide for decades ::: three of his four brothers committed suicide.

While no one can doubt Wittgenstein's genius ::: he was also a man with deep seated issues.  Various historians have suggested that Wittgenstein may have suffered from schizoid personality disorder and exhibited features of high-function autism (Asperger's Syndrome).

Those suffering with Asperger's or schizoid personality disorder view the world much differently than most other people.  They miss the visual cues most people take for granted, they don't always hear things the way they were said, and often feel isolated and misunderstood.  They often come across as cold, distant or unfeeling.

Asperger's is basically a form high functioning autism ::: a developmental disorder. My husband (also bipolar) was told he might have Asperger's.  People with Asperger's develop language the same as everyone else ::: however often have problems with in social interactions ::: they also have difficulty making eye contact and might have poor eye hand coordination.

People with Asperger's might love talking about only one or two topic that are special to them.  Unfortunately this often means they have little desire to talk about anything they're not specifically interested in.

My husband and our greyhound Duke

My generous and caring husband (one of the good guys) struggles with a number of so called normal daily activities.  While he's definitely NOT stupid ::: he's not good at keeping track of time, organizing things (disorganized thinking), managing conflict (tends to react to things people say),  and can go into sensory overload when too much is going on around him.

So now you know the reason I cried when I read James Arthur Ray's Twitter post.  My heart goes out to all those who suffer daily to surmount Asperger's, Bipolar Disease and Schizoid personality disorder.

This Sleeping Dog Should Lie in Prison

James Arthur Ray
Let it not be said of you that "the signs were
apparent all around, yet he was found sleeping"

                                @JamesARay [via Twitter] 08/12/11

James:
while I realize that the First Amendment grants you the right to say what ever you wish.  I am astonished at your glaring lack of insight or feeling for those who have suffered while under your care.

You say you are an honorable and innocent man ::: yet ALL your actions have shown otherwise!

Had you acted like an honorable man ::: you would have stopped the sweat lodge to check on the sick.  Had you stopped the sweat lodge the sick may not have died.

You say you have studied with Native American Elders, Indigenous Shamans and other teachers.  We all know that you lied.  No TRUE Native American Elder would have assisted with or allowed the type of sweat lodges you held.

You are a insecure, greedy bastard, who obviously cares more for possessions and wealth than people.  Instead of paying for a proper medical team and equipment to safeguard Spiritual Warrior participants ::: YOU KEPT THE MONEY.

When the police questioned you ::: you lied ::: then refused to comment further ::: after which you left the state.

You encouraged your people to help during Angel Valley's Closing Ceremony ::: giving each participant a match to use to burn the lodge down.  In a telephonic conference you praised all who attended.  Months later ::: during the trial ::: you claim Yavapai County purposely destroyed evidence ::: even though they spent well over 48 hours doing NOTHING BUT bag evidence from Angel Valley.

Now ::: AFTER EVERYTHING ::: You refuse to go to jail ::: despite a mountain evidence (much of which the JURY NEVER got to see or hear) ::: despite these facts and MORE ::: You have been found guilty buy a jury.  Rather than do the honorable thing ::: you keep running from the fate YOUR actions and your words created.

Keep filing motions ::: keep spreading more lies ::: keep tweeting your morbid and insipid tweets.  The world knows who you are James.  Everything you say and do, only serves to reinforce the image of an insecure ::: greedy ::: uneducated ::: frightened bully of a man.

Know this Truth James

While you may not realize it at the moment ::: everything you have done which has caused harm to others ::: is now happening to you.  All you have stolen will be lost.  All you have gained by fraud ::: is no more.  Your honor ::: success ::: your dignity ::: your independence ::: was just an illusion.  The truth has removed your false mask, replacing it with your true face ::: evil ::: hubris ::: dishonor ::: greed ::: avarice ::: disgrace ::: and debt.

While you may be able to use legal tricks to avoid true justice.  The voices of the dead will haunt you until you make amends and FULL justice has been served.

When Spiritual Warrior Participants
told James Arthur Ray :::

they needed to urinate :::
JAR COMMITTED SACRILEGE :::

and told them to urinate where they sat.

Liz Neuman needed help :::

He DID NOT STOP to check on his friend
He DID NOT STOP THE SWEAT LODGE
He added MORE Red Hot Rocks and
Dumped GALLONS of WATER on the Rocks

people were unconscious :::
He DID NOT STOP to check on ANYONE
He DID NOT STOP THE SWEAT LODGE
He added MORE Red Hot Rocks and
Dumped GALLONS of WATER on the Rocks

people weren't breathing :::
He DID NOT STOP to check on ANYONE
He DID NOT STOP THE SWEAT LODGE
He added MORE Red Hot Rocks and
Dumped GALLONS of WATER on the Rocks

When Spiritual Warrior Participants tried to exit
the sweat lodge, James Arthur Ray :::

DID NOT STOP THE SWEAT LODGE
coaxed them into staying :::
closed the door and told them it was too late :::
He added MORE Red Hot Rocks and
Dumped GALLONS of WATER on the Rocks

When Spiritual Warrior Participants opened the tarp
to get some COOL FRESH AIR ::: James Arthur Ray
SHOUTED SACRILEGE
He DID NOT STOP to check on ANYONE
He DID NOT STOP THE SWEAT LODGE
He added MORE Red Hot Rocks and
Dumped GALLONS of WATER on the Rocks

::: When the Sweat Lodge Ended :::
James Arthur Ray was the first one to leave

People inside were Unconscious
People inside were Dying
One Person was already DEAD

UNCARING ::: UNMINDFUL ::: BLIND

James Arthur Ray Exited the lodge
Hosed Down ::: Sat Down ::: Did NOTHING

Many people ::: HIS FOLLOWERS ::: were unconscious, some weren't breathing, one was already dead, most were in bad Shape.

He DID NOT CALL 911 with his Satellite Phone
He DID NOT help with CPR

He left the area to shower, eat and ???

For all intensive purposes James Arthur Ray might as well have been sleeping!
